Mooseheart Run/Walk 2025
Dear Family & Friends -
The 2025 Mooseheart Rudolph Run/Walk will take place at Mooseheart, IL, on November 22, 2025. Each year, Moose Charities asks all Lodges and Chapters to help support this fundraising effort by either being at Mooseheart (not likely for most of us living in New York!), or VIRTUALLY by holding a walk in our own vicinity some time in November. For the past few years, Lodge 1742 has been doing just that. Our team, "The Riverhead Roundabouts 1742", picks a Saturday or Sunday and meets at the Grumman planes site where Route 25 & Route 25A meet in Calverton. It is a leisurely walk, stroll, or RUN (if you wish!) and doesn't usually take more than an hour or so of your time while walking with other Lodge members.
This event is an important fundraising effort for Moose Charities to support Mooseheart. Registration may be done online (http://support.moosecharities.org/site/TR/5K/General?team_id=4121&pg=team&fr_id=1300) and the fee is $40 for adults, and $20 for children 12 and under. YES! This can be done as a family participation event!
So, Let?s get into the holiday spirit together virtually and FUNdraise for the children at Mooseheart Child City & School. Even if you can't or don't want to do the walk, please consider making a donation either online or see me personally with your check payable to Moose Charities, with Rudolph Run 2025 in the memo section. I've already signed up and made my extra donation; can I depend on you?? Thank you for your consideration!
