It’s just another day in paradise at Moosehaven! But it’s not just about the location or the beautiful grounds that create the Moosehaven paradise; it’s also the fun activities that keep everyone laughing and enjoying life every day.

Just this month, our seniors participated in a talent show, "Moosehaven's Got Talent," that got many of our seniors dancing, singing and out of their comfort zone. Each act performed required time and creativity, not to mention courage to get up on stage. Giving our seniors the opportunity to live life to its fullest is what we, the Moose Fraternity, do best!

Commercial Arts Vocation comes to Mooseheart

Did you know? Each Mooseheart student learns a
vocation in addition to earning an academic diploma. Our students have six
vocation tracks to choose from which is also part of their graduation
requirements. To receive a Mooseheart academic diploma, students must have a
minimum of twenty-eight earned credits in grades 9-12. Vocation Education
requires a minimum of 2.5 credits.

Mooseheart added the Commercial Arts Vocation this year with 10 high school students enrolled in the program. The new vocation will provide students
with the skills needed for a career in the fields of advertising, commercial
art, graphic design, website development, illustration, production design, and
more. They will learn how to take a design from concept to completion using the
latest software to design, edit and create graphics for multiple uses. Students
will also create artwork for our Mooseheart community and will have the
opportunity to participate in contests in the communities in our area.
In addition, students can earn multiple certifications from
the Adobe software programs used, as well as a Commercial Arts Vocation
certificate.
