| We believe in recognizing and celebrating how Moose Members support our mission and their communities. Fundraising events for Mooseheart and Moosehaven, or supporting a local charity or family in need, we want to hear about it.
We hope that by highlighting these stories, your stories will inspire others to get involved in their Lodge and make a difference in their own communities.

Frederick Lodge #371 Moose Riders had a ride on May 18th for the Blessing of the Bikes. They rode through some tough rain but they were still able to visit several local lodges. They raised $600 for Moose Charities!

Venice Lodge #1308 raised $22,000 in scholarships to 22 graduating seniors at Venice High School. The students earned their awards by volunteering in our community, maintaining high grades, and demonstrating financial need.
Nine of the scholarships were sponsored by the Moose Legion for students who completed the Youth Awareness program. Two were sponsored by the Women of the Moose.

Vero Beach Lodge/Chapter #1541 collected for Little Birthday Angels, a nonprofit that helps provide a birthday celebration for every homeless child living on the Treasure Coast of Florida. They collected lap desks, water bottles, and small blankets.
Outstanding work on helping your community Moose!

Marion Chapter #1428 and the Marion Moose Riders did a Sunday Brunch on March16th and raised $563 for Moosehaven AAA project and also raised $563 for Mooseheart Boosters.
Alicia Rose, Chapter Treasurer, said “This was the first time a Sunday brunch was held and due to the incredible turnout, we plan to do another one or two this summer.”

Herndon Lodge #2274 sponsored two local little league teams this season! Congrats to Tee Ball and AA Team Moose for a great season. Member, Michelle Ighani says "We love supporting our community and youth!"
It looks like we might have some future Moose members on the team! Great job! |
South Lake Tahoe Lodge #1632 sponsored a spaghetti dinner for 30 volunteer "Journey for Hope" bicyclists. The college aged riders are riding from San Francisco to Washington, D.C. fundraising and bringing awareness to persons with disabilities.
